The Kobe Nampan Art Museum features a collection of prints, paintings and screens by Japanese artists of the 16th and 17th centuries and hosts international art exhibitions. The new Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art boasts being an “amuseum,” a place of information that amuses, informs and nourishes the spirit. It is the largest in western Japan showcasing fine art from around the world.
